Job summary

Simon is seeking a facilities professional to help develop a 5-year capital plan, oversee safety systems, and conduct daily property walk-throughs to ensure assets operate reliably. The role collaborates with Operations Director, manages CAM and capital budgets, supervises contractors, and ensures compliance with OSHA, ADA, EPA, and other regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in facility/maintenance operations.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints, CAD drawings and other schematics.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Proficient in the use of computers and programs such as Microsoft Office and other programs as applicable to the property.
• Ability to be flexible, prioritize and manage multiple projects, as well as solve problems in a timely manner.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assists with development of a 5-year capital plan to maintain/enhance property assets and execute planned capital.
• Ensures safety systems are up to code, maintained and inspected.
• Conducts daily walks to ensure assets are in good operating condition and responds to issues.
• Manages procurement within CAM and Capital Expenditure budgets.
• Oversees contractors and ensures work is completed per service agreements and documentation.
• Monitors contracted cleaning services and maintains safety and regulatory compliance.
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings and schematics; maintains logs for preventive maintenance.
