Job summary

The Senior Housing Options, Inc. seeks a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, repair, and operation of buildings, systems, and grounds across communities. You will lead the maintenance team, partner with the COO, and ensure safe, compliant, and well-maintained facilities.

Responsibilities include implementing preventive maintenance, managing contracted services, and driving capital projects while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality work for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or related certifications.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant facilities management experience.
• Fluent English with professional communication.
• Working knowledge of local building codes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and supervises preventative maintenance and renovation programs for buildings, grounds, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Oversees buildings and grounds maintenance.
• Supports recruiting efforts for maintenance-related positions by participating in candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
• Enforces safety rules and procedures and oversees ongoing training of maintenance staff.
• Ensures facilities are clean and maintained according to policy.
• Supervises, schedules, and oversees facilities maintenance staff.
• Partner with Property Managers for performance management of the facilities team.
• Leads, trains, coaches, and mentors maintenance staff with daily direction and ongoing education.
• Conducts regular facilities inspections and documents results.
