Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Lead Facilities Manager in Atlanta to oversee mechanical systems, maintenance programs, and daily facility operations. You will supervise predictive maintenance, coordinate service requests, and ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and security standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in facilities maintenance, HVAC expertise, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

HVAC technician certification or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
Minimum of 5 years in facilities maintenance or building operations.
Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations and practices.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written; strong communication.
Ability to work unsupervised and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

Perform and coordinate repairs, testing and maintenance of mechanical systems (HVAC, elevators, fire alarms, suppression).
Coordinate maintenance service requests and ensure minimal disruption.
Monitor contractors and vendors; ensure safe, compliant work practices.
Design and implement Preventative Maintenance programs for assigned assets.
Plan/forecast future projects with Facilities leadership; maintain records.
