Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Sr. Manager in the United States to lead a team delivering preventative maintenance and repair services for a major client across critical environments.

You will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities, manage schedules, and ensure completion of work orders and maintenance within SLA. You’ll partner with stakeholders to meet MSA requirements and drive safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor training and development; conduct performance evaluations and coaching; oversee recruiting and hiring.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities; establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff; set deadlines; mentor as needed.
• Point of contact for the client while working with key stakeholders to meet MSA requirements.
• Confirm completion of configuration management, work orders, preventative maintenance, and repairs within the SLA timeframe.
• Resolve unforeseen circumstances and inform client or executive management as needed.
• Verify facility infrastructure equipment installations are within the SLA timeframe.
• Oversee IT equipment power installations, relocation and decommission requests.
• Check daily routine cleanup of data halls and review findings; present overview to client and manager.
