Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Sr. Manager to lead a team delivering expert preventative maintenance and repair services for a large client in a critical environment. The role sits within the Critical and Technical Services function and requires guiding staff to meet strict SLA targets and industry standards.

The candidate will coordinate daily activities, manage resources, and act as the main client contact, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to MSAs and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and development; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities; set work schedules and cross-train staff.
• Serve as point of contact for the client and ensure MSA requirements are met.
• Verify completion of maintenance, work orders, and repairs within SLA timeframes.
• Resolve unforeseen circumstances and inform client or executive management as needed.
• Oversee IT equipment power installations, relocation, and decommission requests.
