Job summary

Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes RF/microwave products with facilities in NYC area. The Senior Maintenance Mechanic maintains HVAC systems and related facility equipment across two buildings, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs and installations, with strong knowledge of rooftop units, split systems, electrical, plumbing and compressed air systems.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, repair and installation in industrial/commercial facilities.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification and HVAC knowledge including rooftop units and split systems.
• Proficient use of hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of fire sprinkler/alarm systems and building infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs and installations of HVAC systems, including rooftop packaged units and split systems.
• Utilize testing instruments to identify malfunctions and determine root causes.
• Install and repair electrical components, plumbing fixtures and compressed air systems.
• Carry out building repairs and renovations like carpentry, ceilings, flooring and electrical wiring.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Provide maintenance support to production and respond to facility emergencies.
• Perform seasonal duties including snow removal and general facility upkeep.
• Follow ISO, EH&S and NYC codes and safety practices.
