Job summary

SSFCU is seeking a skilled facilities technician at our Wisconsin facility to perform preventive and repair work across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and life-safety systems. You will ensure safety compliance and keep buildings in top condition.

This role involves coordinating contractors, supervising vendors, and supporting budget input for improvements. Requires 6+ years of facilities experience, valid licenses, and proficiency with Archibus or Remedy and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Six years of facilities/building maintenance experience.
• Certified in the operation of lifts, forklifts, scissor lifts and other tools.
• Experience with maintenance software such as Archibus or Remedy.
• Knowledge of voltage meters, Freon leak detectors, plumbing tools and machines.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.
• Ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs up to heights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and life-safety systems.
• Repair and maintain roofs, lighting, doors/locks, windows, carpentry and other facilities components.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors; schedule daily activities.
• Audit building operations for safety compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Maintain maintenance software and tools; support inventory and procurement.
• Contribute to budget input for facilities improvements and operations.
