Job summary

Jabil in Richardson, TX is seeking a Senior Facilities / Maintenance Specialist to lead preventive maintenance and repairs across the plant, ensuring reliability of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and mechanical systems.

The role requires 5+ years in heating/cooling, HVAC, refrigeration and related fields, with an HVAC Certification or Electrical License. You will troubleshoot, install utilities for production moves, and support industrial engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
At least 5 years of experience in heating, cooling, HVAC, industrial electricity, sheet metal, ductwork, and refrigeration gases.
HVAC Certification or Electrical License required.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, compressor/vacuum, plumbing and electrical systems.
Perform routine repairs on air handling and other facility systems; repair and replace valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, pipes, etc.
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment related problems.
Monitor the air handling system.
Complete preventative maintenance tasks on time.
Install utilities to production equipment during online moves.
Assist in Industrial Engineering and Machine Support in line configuration and equipment moves.
