Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Sr. Manager, Facilities to lead the inverter manufacturing plant in Mesa, Arizona.

You will oversee building systems, utilities, maintenance programs, and vendor management to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations supporting high-volume production. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to optimize uptime, safety, and cost performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years in facilities, plant maintenance, or industrial operations with 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments such as electronics, power equipment, or high-volume production.
• Strong knowledge of plant utilities, building systems, maintenance practices, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day facilities operations for an inverter manufacturing plant, including building systems and maintenance.
• Ensure reliable operation of critical infrastructure (electrical, HVAC, water, fire protection, security).
• Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for assets.
• Support production uptime by rapid response to facility-related issues.
• Manage facility budgets, service contracts, parts, and capex projects.
• Lead facilities technicians, contractors, and third-party providers.
