Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
• 5-8+ years of progressive facilities or maintenance leadership experience required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated GMP environments strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational leadership and oversight of the Facilities department across U.S. sites.
• Ensure full cGMP, FDA, EMA, DEA, CBP and other regulatory compliance, including audits.
• Develop, review, and update Facilities SOPs with QA alignment.
• Oversee validation (C&Q) of controlled environments and critical systems.
• Oversee calibration programs for critical monitoring equipment.
• Oversee data analytics for temperature trending and environmental monitoring.
• Lead BMS personnel to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance and critical systems (HVAC, cold storage).
• Drive project outcomes with clear stakeholder expectations and on-time delivery.
• Coach and mentor Facilities personnel; conduct performance reviews.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent development for Facilities staff.
• Oversee CMMS and maintenance documentation processes.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and procurement for supplies and services.
• Oversee security systems and physical security programs.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers ensuring GMP compliance.
• Act as escalation point for facilities emergencies and alarms.
