Job summary

Mentor Technical Group seeks an experienced senior facilities leader to oversee plant utilities and operations in a regulated life sciences setting. You will drive strategic planning, budgeting, contracting, and safety compliance across the site portfolio.

The role requires deep pharma/manufacturing experience and the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex schedules, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Irregular hours and shift coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience managing plant utilities/facilities operations.
• Pharma engineering, compliance and safety experience required.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and daily operations for buildings and premises, including procurement and contracts.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage technical issues and optimize workflows for cost efficiency and timelines.
• Schedule work activities based on priority, equipment, and personnel.
• Monitor safety, tool use, and working conditions; enforce rules.
