Job summary

US Foods seeks a Manager, Facility Operations to lead and develop a high-performing facilities team in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment. You will oversee maintenance, sanitation, refrigeration, security, and all capital projects to maintain safe operations and product quality.

You will partner with QA, Safety, and HR, manage budgets, and drive sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives while ensuring 24/7 operations meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Operations or related field.
• 5 years of facilities management experience in cold/food logistics.
• Proficiency with CMMS and data analytics to drive improvements.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge (OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, GMP).

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee facility operations and maintenance teams.
• Lead safety-first culture and ensure regulatory compliance across functions.
• Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and capital projects.
• Coordinate with QA, sanitation, and distribution teams for cold-chain integrity.
• Develop and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with third-party service providers and regulators.
