Job summary

CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate services, seeks a Senior Facilities Manager in Milpitas, CA. You will oversee operations, maintenance programs, capital projects, and vendor partnerships while guiding a high-performing team in a complex technology environment.

You will drive operational excellence, ensure safety compliance, and partner with clients to deliver exceptional facility services in a dynamic campus setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees. Track training and development; conduct performance evaluations and coaching; oversee recruiting and hiring.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities; establish work schedules; assign tasks; cross-train staff; mentor and coach as needed.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage large and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections for quality assurance and ensure compliance with regulations; identify improvements.
• Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing; review and approve purchase orders.
