Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Facility Manager in San Jose to oversee facilities operations, staff leadership, budgets and client relations. The role emphasizes service excellence, cost management and continuous improvement across a campus or portfolio.

The successful candidate will have 8–10 years of facility management experience, strong vendor and HR processes knowledge, and be adept at coordinating capital and operating budgets to meet client goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management or Business Administration required
• Minimum of 8-10 years of facility management experience with at least 3 years at the level of Facility Manager
• Experience in leasing, construction, engineering and all facets of property operation and building management
• Experience with human resource and performance management processes
• Experience with critical system environments preferred
• CMMS/Work Order Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of facilities, campus or portfolio ensuring services are delivered and needs met
• Manage service contracts cost effectively and review performance and pricing
• Lead the facility management team in supervising maintenance programs
• Ensure staff responds promptly to client and tenant requests
• Coordinate budgets, contracts, expenditures and purchase orders
• Develop annual facility budget and forecasts
• Assist in capital budget development and five-year plans
• Analyze data to improve service levels and cost savings
• Hire, train and evaluate facility staff and manage relationships with client contacts
