Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years experience in maintenance and environmental services operations management required.
• Experience in a long-term care facility, hospital, or related medical facility required.
• Knowledge of boilers, HVAC and generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of building codes, LSC, NFPA, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be insurable under professional liability and crime coverage policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Environmental Services Departments and Commissioners; ensures compliance with Life Safety Code and OSHA requirements.
• Assists in developing annual budgets and negotiating utility contracts.
• Oversees maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, and security functions; promotes safety and quality assurance.
• Coordinates capital projects and asset management; reviews bids and oversees project completion.
• Ensures policies and procedures for Environmental Services are written and followed.
