Job summary

Ohio Living seeks an Executive Director to lead resident/community operations in line with its mission, vision, and core values. You will coach and supervise staff, maintain occupancy, manage budgets, and foster strong relationships with residents, families, and referral sources.

Responsibilities include enforcing policies, preparing reports, ensuring high-quality care, and driving continuous improvement. The role requires strong leadership, accountability, and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business administration, social science or a related field preferred.
• Two years managerial experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the internet required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety and well-being of the residents in accordance with the community’s philosophy and standards of care.
• Represent the residence to the community, family members, and visitors and develop positive relations with all customers.
• Establish and maintain an open-door policy and a high level of ongoing communication with residents and their families.
• Contact the resident’s family when a change in services is needed. Lead and participate in a resident/family conference to review changes in services.
• Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Actively participate in providing service to residents.
• All other duties as assigned.
