Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Journeyman Engineer to ensure reliability and safety of complex building systems at Swedish First Hill in Seattle. You will engage hands-on with automated controls and perform a range of mechanical trades to keep facilities operating smoothly.

The role requires extensive experience with building control systems, electrical and mechanical maintenance, and a strong problem-solving mindset in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed extensive specialized training courses --or--
• Demonstrated ability and experience may be accepted in lieu of education
• 4 years of building control systems inspection, testing, repair and maintenance in a hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair and maintain building control systems in a hospital setting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic building systems.
• Support preventative maintenance and ensure safety and reliability of facilities.
