Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Senior Facility Engineer in Williston, ND to provide technical support for surface facilities within the Bakken. You will lead operations support, project delivery from FEED to handover, and surveillance for compliance and performance metrics.

Ideal candidates have a Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum engineering background with 3+ years in oil & gas facilities, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with change management and P&ID drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum or related field and 3+ years in oil and gas facilities.
• Experience in design, operation, and maintenance of common surface facilities systems.
• Ability to read and redline P&ID drawings and interact with operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for surface facilities within the Bakken.
• Ensure safe facility operations and regulatory/compliance adherence.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Manage facility upgrades via FEED to Operations handover.
• Develop surveillance tools and metrics to track facility performance.
• Coordinate with Operations, Regulatory, and Compliance teams.
