Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Senior Facility Engineer in Williston, ND, to provide technical support to engineers and operations for Bakken surface facilities. The role demands strong project execution, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will oversee surveillance, risk assessments, P&ID reviews, and capital projects from FEED to operations handover, ensuring safe, efficient facility performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in an Oil and Gas engineering role with a focus on facilities or upstream unconventional.
• Experience in the design, operation, and maintenance of common surface facilities systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to fellow engineers and operations for surface facilities.
• Ensure engineering controls for safe facility operations and regulatory compliance.
• Identify downtime causes, conduct root-cause analysis, and lead remediation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Operations stakeholders and regulators.
• Lead or participate in project management from FEED to Operations handover.
• Develop surveillance tools and track key facility metrics.
