Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Field Engineer for the Williston, ND area. You will design fluid system solutions for oil, gas, and chemical customers, partnering with sales to win opportunities and deliver projects from concept to completion.

The role blends engineering, field work, and customer training, with a team-based, support-driven culture. Expect a commission target, vehicle and phone allowances, and company-wide profit sharing eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical preferred).
• Oil, gas, or chemical industry experience required.
• 4-7 years in engineering or 2+ years with degree still considered.
• Customer-facing or field engineering experience preferred.
• CAD/SolidWorks knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design fluid system solutions for oil, gas, and chemical customers.
• Lead projects from concept to completion, including P&ID development.
• Operate onsite across North Dakota and train customers.
• Support sales with technical guidance and troubleshooting.
• Review drawings to ensure specifications are met.
