Job summary

Continental Resources, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support the Williston Basin asset team in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on designing and managing oil and gas production facilities, coordinating contractors, and tracking costs through AFEs and construction.

The position emphasizes piping, equipment sizing, process systems, and compliance with industry standards. Travel is required, and collaboration across teams will optimize asset performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry and/or managing the execution of engineering projects.
• Ability to travel at least once a month for 2-3 days.
• An acceptable pre-employment background screen and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage execution of single-well and multi-well oil and gas production facilities.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to design, procure, and install oil and gas handling systems.
• Design of oil and gas process systems including piping, equipment, materials, instrumentation, and controls.
• Prepare operating guidelines for facilities.
• Develop cost estimates and prepare AFEs for facilities projects.
• Track progress and cost throughout the construction process.
