Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operation of our facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency across locations. This on-site role involves coordinating TI projects, managing vendors, and aligning facilities work with business growth.

With 8+ years in facilities management and a related bachelor's degree, you will lead teams, control costs, and drive energy efficiency while partnering with leaders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 8+ years of facilities management experience across multi-site operations.
• Proven experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers, including contract negotiations and performance management.
• Strong experience planning and leading tenant improvement (TI) projects, renovations, office build-outs, and facility upgrades.
• Expertise in budgeting, capital planning, cost estimation, and managing TI allowances or construction-related expenditures.
• Working knowledge of building systems, building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Trade certifications or professional facilities credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational excellence across company locations.
• Plan, budget, and manage facility maintenance, renovations, and TI projects from concept through completion.
• Serve as the primary contact for landlords, vendors, contractors, and service providers; negotiate contracts, manage performance, and control costs.
• Develop and manage facility capital plans, including TI allowances, build-outs, office expansions, and workplace improvements.
• Review project designs, budgets, and specifications to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with building codes.
• Drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders to align facilities strategy with organizational growth and workplace needs.
• Lead and mentor facilities staff while coordinating office moves and space planning activities.
