Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support critical infrastructure at the Arbor Lakes campus. You will improve system reliability, lead maintenance planning, and collaborate on large capital projects as the MEP engineering representative.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering and at least 6 years in a regulated facilities environment, with hands-on experience in HVAC, BAS, and building systems. Hybrid work is required, with on-site presence at least three days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in facilities engineering or related field within a regulated industrial environment.
• Experience with large-scale HVAC, chilled water, boilers, and building systems.
• Experience troubleshooting complex engineering or operational systems and driving process improvements.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation, change control and quality systems within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute facilities infrastructure and capital projects to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Serve as the MEP engineering representative on large capital projects, supporting design and construction.
• Develop, implement, and optimize building infrastructure maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot BAS, electrical, plumbing and mechanical issues impacting site operations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance monitoring, alarming and automation for reliability and risk reduction.
• Support qualification, validation, and change control for facilities systems to meet regulatory standards.
