The role focuses on optimizing operations, driving initiatives, and supporting capital projects while ensuring safety and environmental standards are met across facilities in NJ and TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering; 5+ years in facilities engineering or central plant operations.
• Strong understanding of chiller plant systems, BAS/BMS, and environmental monitoring technologies.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency strategies and sustainability practices.
• Experience managing service providers, contractors, or vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and translate into improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor chiller plant performance and BAS/BMS operation for reliability and efficiency.
• Analyze performance data and recommend system adjustments, upgrades, or replacements.
• Oversee environmental monitoring systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and refine preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Serve as first- line technical evaluator for mechanical/electrical issues; coordinate resolutions.
• Oversee vendor performance and service contracts.
• Maintain records of system performance and compliance with OSHA, ASHRAE, EPA, etc.
• Support energy management and sustainability initiatives; advise on capital planning.
• Provide technical guidance for HVAC, mechanical upgrades, and environmental monitoring projects.
