Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in New York state seeks an experienced Facilities - Electrician, Sr. Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across Baxter facilities. The role requires technical expertise, strong problem solving, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Lead and mentor facilities technicians, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliant, safe operations while maintaining accurate maintenance records and reports for management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical trade preferred.
• NYS Master Journeyman Electrician preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification within 90 days is expected.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Lead and mentor facilities technicians and train new staff.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on facilities systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
