Hammer is seeking a Director of Environmental Services in Minnesota to lead organization-wide facilities operations, safety, capital projects, fleet, and workplace services. The role drives long-term facilities plans, asset replacement, and budget management while partnering with program leaders to ensure safe, efficient environments for employees and participants.

Qualifications

• Intermediate experience in multi-site facilities management or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading facilities teams and budgets; managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and projects.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety, and maintenance; ability to interpret codes and plans.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and work-order/budget systems.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: develop and execute long-term facilities plans and capital improvements.
• Lead facilities, maintenance, engineering, and workplace services; set KPIs and improve operations.
• Manage work orders from intake to completion; coordinate with program and admin teams.
• Oversee fleet safety, maintenance, and replacement planning; manage budgeting and procurement.
• Budget & Financial Management: develop operating and capital budgets; forecast costs.
• Safety, Compliance & Risk Management: ensure OSHA and life-safety compliance.
