Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee all facility maintenance operations across its Minnesota campuses. You will manage boilers, HVAC, electrical, and safety systems, while leading maintenance staff and coordinating preventive maintenance programs.

The role includes budgeting, purchasing documentation, vendor coordination, and training during onboarding. Strong collaboration with other departments and adherence to regulations are essential.

Qualifications

Experience in healthcare facilities (skilled nursing or assisted living)
Thorough knowledge of boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical wiring
Background check compliance per Minnesota DHS guidelines
Two years in maintenance/power plant work desirable
Clear written and spoken English skills

Responsibilities

Oversee all facility maintenance operations and safety compliance
Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate hiring/evaluations
Manage inventory, purchasing, and budget adherence
Coordinate contracts and preventive maintenance programs
