Job summary

North Memorial Health in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee Engineering Services, including Maintenance, Stationary Engineering, and Yard Operations, and to lead the development and implementation of Utility, Safety, and Life Safety Management plans.

Bachelor's in engineering or business admin and 5 years in facilities within health system; 3 years in union-based management preferred; strong QA, HVAC, and compliance knowledge; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a facilities role in a Health System setting.
• 3 Years in a management position in a union environment preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Total Quality Management, communication skills, organizational and management skills.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and HVAC systems.
• DNV-GL NIAHO standards experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license in state of residency with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of North Memorial Health Care Engineering Services, including Maintenance, Stationary Engineering and Yard Maintenance.
• Develop and implement Utility, Safety, and Life Safety Management plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and reliability.
• Lead a team in a union environment, ensuring safety and performance standards.
