Job summary

Hammer- in Minnesota is seeking a Director of Environmental Services to provide strategic leadership for facilities operations across sites. You will direct maintenance, safety, capital projects, fleet, and workplace services, while managing budgets, vendors, and compliance to support employees, program participants, and visitors.

You'll lead a multi-disciplinary team, develop long-range facility plans, establish KPIs, and ensure safe, compliant environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-site facilities teams and budgets.
• Ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance and capital plans.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety standards.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, contracts, and projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-range facilities plans and master budgets.
• Lead facilities, maintenance, engineering, and workplace services teams.
• Oversee fleet management, safety, and compliance programs.
• Manage work orders, asset data, and reporting systems.
• Coordinate capital projects with architects, engineers, and vendors.
• Monitor performance via KPIs and optimize resource allocation.
• Lead staff development, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
