Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or business field required.
• 5+ years of progressive administrative experience in higher education.
• 10 years in senior leadership roles with oversight of facilities budget and development.
• Ability to manage and lead complex capital projects.
• Knowledge of capital development, planning, design, and campus master planning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, planning, design, and construction of new facilities and major renovations.
• Prepare RFQ and RFP proposals; prepare contracts for major construction projects; review contractor work for planning, scheduling and costs.
• Oversee and review consultants; coordinate selection processes for A/E and contractors.
• Represent AVCFPC with state, city, and county officials on issues and transactions.
• Establish policies and procedures to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery; develop department strategies.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional areas on facilities planning and construction.
