Job summary

Enclos Corp. is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our preconstruction team in St. Louis, MO, evaluating, pricing, and winning complex façade projects.

This role emphasizes analyzing drawings, performing detailed takeoffs, and mentoring junior estimators to drive successful bids. The position requires collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to shape project strategy from early stages, using Revit for takeoffs and leveraging advanced estimating software.

Qualifications

• Analyzes architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to determine project requirements.
• Determines scope and provides written project scope to Sales Team and Estimating Manager.
• Prepares budget and/or hard bid take-off per attached minimum requirements.
• Extracts, sorts and produces glass and metal materials recaps utilizing current spreadsheets or forms.
• Maintains contact with Sales Team on bid status and updates; coordinates bid documents via FTP site.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes all architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to determine project requirements.
• Determines Enclos scope of the project and supplies written scope of the project to the Sales Team and the Estimating Manager.
• Prepares budget and/or hard bid take-off per attached minimum requirements.
• Extracts, sorts and produces glass and metal materials recaps utilizing current spreadsheets or forms.
• Maintains contact with Sales Team on a regular basis as to anticipated completion of all required take-offs and recaps, and coordinates bid documents via FTP site.
• Trains Estimator I and II in Estimating takeoffs.
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with vendors.
