Job summary

Enclos seeks a Senior Designer to lead curtainwall design from concept through post-sale execution. You will translate complex architectural ideas into buildable façade solutions and own design decisions while integrating feedback from stakeholders with varying priorities.

The role involves creating detailed 2D/3D design packages, collaborating with architects, owners, consultants, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams, and leading post-sale design activities. Travel required.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets architectural and structural drawings.
• Analyzes technical information and prepares design concepts.
• Keeps up-to-date with curtainwall technologies and fabrication methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide design input for sales and design-assist projects.
• Create shop drawings using AutoCAD (elevations, plans, sections, details).
• Model 2D details in 3D Rhino for reviews and renderings.
• Support development/maintenance of standard systems.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and vendors to refine concepts.
• Evaluate design ideas for safety, efficiency, aesthetics, and costs.
• Coordinate research, sketches, and concepts into cohesive designs.
• Prepare working drawings and 3D renderings from specs.
• Present designs to clients and management, and handle modifications.
• Lead post-sale design development with the design team.
• Prescribe fabrication techniques and review vendor processes.
• Review project specs and coordinate with sales/operations.
