Job summary

MPW Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fabricator to support equipment maintenance, fabrication, and repair in an industrial setting, focusing on safety, precision, and operational efficiency.

You will read blueprints, weld with MIG/TIG, plasma cutters, and oxyacetylene tools, fabricate tooling and components, and assist with design changes. A HS diploma or GED and 5–7 years of welding experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; vocational training preferred.
• 5–7 years welding/fabrication in industrial or heavy equipment setting.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding repairs and fabrication on industrial equipment and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for fabrication projects.
• Operate MIG welders for aluminum and stainless steel.
• Operate TIG welders, AC/DC stick welders, plasma cutters, and oxyacetylene equipment.
• Fabricate tooling, equipment, and structural components as needed.
• Assist in design and modification of equipment and repair solutions.
• Determine materials and welding methods for repairs and fabrication.
• Inspect work areas to ensure safe welding conditions and quality standards.
• Travel to field sites for welding and fabrication tasks as required.
• Work extended shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
