Job summary

MPW Industrial Service Group is seeking a dependable Fabricator to support equipment maintenance, fabrication, and repair operations with high-quality welding and metalworking skills. This role builds, repairs, and modifies equipment and tooling while prioritizing safety, precision, and efficiency in an industrial setting.

You will read blueprints, operate MIG/TIG/stick welders, plasma cutters, and oxy-fuel equipment to fabricate components, assist in equipment design, and travel to field sites

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• 5–7 years welding and fabrication experience in industrial environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding repairs and fabrication on industrial equipment and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Operate MIG welders for aluminum and stainless steel applications.
• Operate TIG welders, AC/DC stick welders, plasma cutters, and oxyacetylene equipment.
• Fabricate tooling, equipment, and structural components.
• Travel to field sites and work extended shifts as needed.
• Maintain safe work areas and follow OSHA PPE guidelines.
• Assist in design and modification of equipment and repair solutions.
