Job summary

EY in Boston seeks a Senior Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professional to help clients solve complex accounting challenges and improve reporting. You’ll work across industries, influencing strategy and delivering tailored solutions.

Regular travel to client sites is required; you’ll collaborate with partners and teams, mentor staff, and apply deep accounting knowledge. EY offers a hybrid model and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business, and about 3–5 years as an auditor in public accounting
• Eligibility to obtain US CPA licensure in your work state
• Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge
• Deep understanding of marketplace terminology, processes, and tools
• Proven record of excellence in mentoring and leading teams
• Ability to travel and work longer hours when necessary

Responsibilities

• Consulting with clients on complex accounting issues
• Collaborating with partners, senior managers and clients to influence strategy while balancing risk and client expectations
• Ensuring the Engagement team thoroughly understands client needs, ambitions and expectations
• Building relationships across service lines to provide seamless, integrated service
• Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve products and processes

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business

Master's degree in accounting/finance/business

US CPA licensure eligibility
