Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior in the FAAS practice to lead projects across industries, translating client needs into strategic accounting solutions. You’ll collaborate with teams across service lines, travel to meet key clients, and drive client outcomes with technical rigor and thoughtful communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business and approximately 3–5 years of experience as an auditor in public accounting.
• Eligibility to obtain US CPA licensure in your work state.
• Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge.
• A deep understanding of the marketplace, terminology, processes and tools.
• Proven record of excellence in managing and mentoring a team of high-performing colleagues.
• Ability to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations and new technologies.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.
• Access to reliable transportation to/from EY offices and client sites; a driver’s license is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on complex accounting issues.
• Collaborate with partners, senior managers and clients to influence strategy while balancing risk and expectations.
• Ensure the Engagement team thoroughly understands clients’ needs, ambitions and expectations.
• Build relationships across multiple service lines to provide integrated service.
• Manage performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and products.
