Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly motivated Customer Support Engineer for the F135 engine program. This role focuses on Source Data creation and updates for Joint Technical Data (JTD) engine manuals, partnering with engineering to support maintenance and operations at unit and depot levels.

The CSE will drive process improvements based on customer feedback and sustainment knowledge, ensuring accurate JTD development and timely data delivery across maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; technical degree preferred.
• 5+ years related experience or 3+ years related experience with an advanced degree.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical data inquiries and provide timely technical data updates to support maintenance and operations on the F135 engine.
• Drive customer satisfaction by influencing the JTD through process improvements and incorporation of engineering requirements.
• Review limits development documents from a sustainment perspective, providing feedback and customer support engineering approval.
• Influence effective solutions for implementation plans for new configurations.
• Review Joint Technical Data change requests, evaluating the request based on technical expertise and sustainment process knowledge.
• Perform Source Data authoring functions including creation of source data, quality reviews, workflow resolutions, task assignments, and resolution of customer comments.
• Support depot and unit level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance strategies and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with internal engineering groups, customers, vendors, and CSEs located at Depot & Unit sites to resolve technical issues and ensure optimal instruction for JTD.
