Job summary

RTX, the world-leading aerospace firm, seeks a Customer Support Engineer for the F135 engine program. You will generate Joint Technical Data and support maintenance at unit and depot levels, collaborating with engineering, customers, and vendors to ensure accurate data and timely updates.

Ideal candidates have a related bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or 3+ years with an advanced degree, and are willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Advanced degree is preferred and may reduce required experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of time.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical data inquiries and provide timely data updates.
• Influence JTD through process improvements and engineering requirements.
• Review limits development docs from a sustainment perspective for feedback.
• Develop implementation plans for new configurations.
• Review Joint Technical Data change requests with technical context.
• Create source data, perform quality reviews, and resolve customer comments.
• Support depot and unit maintenance strategies and plans.
