Job summary

RTX’s Pratt & Whitney division seeks a Senior Engineer in the Compression Systems Engineering group to support the F135 Sustainment Program at Tinker AFB, OK. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and overhaul engineering for engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.

You will interface with customers and DoD offices, perform inspections, and document findings per P&W procedures, with a path toward advanced composite design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience OR
• Advanced Degree in Engineering with 3+ years relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Work as the onsite Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Engineer supporting engine/hardware investigations.
• Support and participate in projects aimed at implementing designs, inspections, and repairs that meet advanced engine-specific requirements in operational service.
• Interface directly with the customer, the Joint Program Office of the Air Force, Navy, and Marines.
• Conduct inspections and summarize and document findings in accordance with P&W procedures.
