Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a Senior Production Program Manager at the El Segundo, CA facility. You will provide strategic leadership for a GPS Sensor LRU production portfolio produced via external subcontractors, accountable for cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, and delivery.

This onsite role requires DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and strong cross-functional collaboration to drive program outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in aerospace/defense program management.
• Experience managing complex production programs with interdependent cost, schedule, technical, and delivery commitments.
• Experience with external manufacturing partners, subcontractors, or critical suppliers and production performance accountability.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define program strategy and align cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Oversee complex production programs with interdependent cost, schedule, technical, and delivery commitments.
• Influence decisions across functional boundaries with executive communication skills.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasting, estimates at completion, variance, and risk assessment.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed environment without direct supervisory authority.
• Drive production continuity, delivery predictability, and supplier accountability.
