Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector seeks a Director 1 to lead the FR&S program life cycle from proposal development through startup, execution and closeout, in El Segundo, CA.

You will direct cross-functional IPTs, manage quality, cost, schedule and technical performance, cultivate customer relationships, and develop new business opportunities while mentoring junior program managers. Ideal candidate has DoD sustainment experience and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 3 years in program or project leadership roles.
• Profit & loss responsibility with demonstrated ability to achieve financial performance targets and use of Earned Value Management.
• Ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct cross-functional Integrated Program Teams to meet objectives.
• Drive predictable program performance with regular metric measurement and management.
• Cultivate customer relationships to develop further opportunities within the customer community.
• Develop new business opportunities through long-term strategic planning and proposals.
• Develop and manage suppliers to meet program objectives.
• Ensure adherence to contract scope and change processes.
• Develop and mentor junior program managers across the unit.
