Job summary

Panduit is seeking a Senior Extrusion Process Engineer to lead profile extrusion operations, developing processes and tooling from concept to implementation. You will optimize parameters and collaborate with design teams to ensure extrusion compatibility with new products.

Ideal candidates have 5-8 years in plastic profile extrusion, strong engineering foundations, and proven ability to drive productivity and OEE improvements. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in plastic profile extrusion production.
• Proficiency in extrusion principles and extrusion tool construction.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead daily meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and process management for profile extrusion operations.
• Apply engineering expertise to optimize and troubleshoot profile extrusion processes.
• Develop new processes, define parameters, and evaluate auxiliary equipment requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review design requirements and ensure extrusion compatibility.
• Design and implement profile extrusion tooling including process validation.
• Analyze test data to refine extrusion processes and material specifications.
• Provide technical support for extrusion production to improve productivity, reduce scrap and improve OEE.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and drive long-term technical strategy.
