Job summary

CPS Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Technical Service Representative specializing in extrusion coatings for paper packaging. The role emphasizes collaboration with R&D, marketing, and sales to deliver high-performance coatings and oversee trials from concept to scale-up.

Ideal candidates have a polymer science background, 7–10 years of extrusion/web coating experience, and willingness to travel across the United States to support customers and drive commercial success.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in polymer science, paper science, coatings, packaging, materials science, physics, or a plastics-related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant technical experience in extrusion, web coating, and coated product testing.
• Track record of supporting customers through technical trials and production implementation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for extrusion coating formulations and processes for customer inquiries.
• Design, coordinate, and execute customer trials and scale-up activities from conception through completion.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, and customers to deliver high-performance, sustainable coatings solutions.
