Job summary

PeopleSuite Talent Solutions is helping a client locate a hands‑on Process Engineer – Extrusion Blow Molding to develop and optimize manufacturing processes across multiple facilities in the U.S. You will troubleshoot, validate, and improve process performance while supporting new product commercialization.

The role requires strong knowledge of extrusion blow molding, equipment, and tooling, with travel up to 50% and remote work potential. Reports to the Global Technical Center in York, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing environment required.
• Hands-on experience with extrusion blow molding equipment setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop extrusion blow molding processes to support product commercialization.
• Establish stable, repeatable processes and document SOCs.
• Optimize production processes and set operating limits for variables.
• Develop SOPs for process control, machine setup, manufacturing operations.
• Process unit cavity molds during development activities.
• Support process validation and production readiness during new equipment installation.
• Diagnose and resolve machine, mold, tooling, material, and process issues.
• Lead structured problem‑solving and implement corrective actions.
• Apply PDCA, SPC, and data‑driven methods to improve performance.
• Partner with plant teams to address production challenges and improve capability, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to machinery, molds, tooling, processes, and bottle design.
• Promote standardized processing methods and audit SOP compliance.
• Train plant personnel on setup, control, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
• Provide hands‑on technical support across the plant network.
• Develop clear technical documentation and reports.
