Job summary

Flexcraft is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer with extrusion blow molding experience to drive performance, reduce scrap, and back new product launches in a 24/7 manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will own the process, troubleshoot on the shop floor, and partner with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to implement permanent improvements that impact cycle time and uptime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of process engineering experience in plastics manufacturing.
• Hands-on extrusion blow molding experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize processes on production floor.
• Strong understanding of materials, tooling, and molding equipment.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, or Six Sigma tools (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Optimize processes to improve cycle time, quality, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues directly on the floor.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Support new product launches, mold trials, and validations.
• Partner with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
• Develop SOPs and standardize best practices.
