Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Manager, External Reporting for a global industrial manufacturing organization. The role oversees SEC filings, maintains accounting policies, and serves as the technical accounting lead, partnering with auditors and executive teams to ensure GAAP compliance.

This hands-on senior role requires 8–10 years of US GAAP/SEC reporting experience, a CPA, and the ability to lead a small team. Onsite work with a comprehensive compensation package and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required.
• 8-10 years of experience with US GAAP, SEC reporting, audit/assurance.
• Experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm.
• Ability to lead a small team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of external financial reports, including SEC filings and related disclosures.
• Drive development and implementation of accounting policies with evolving requirements.
• Serve as technical accounting leader, guiding on complex accounting matters and new standards.
• Communicate updates with executive leadership, Investor Relations, and Audit Committee.
• Manage relationships with auditors and support lease accounting, impairment analyses, and cash flow reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the external reporting team and drive process improvements.
