Base pay range

$195,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr

The Senior Manager for Financial Reporting is a critical role that will oversee the preparation of all external financial reports to the SEC. The ideal candidate will have started their career in public accounting before moving onto an External Reporting group on the private side.

Description

  • Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual external financial reports including 10K, 10Q, Forms 20-F, 6-K, and proxy statements.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide expert advice on technical accounting and reporting matters.
  • Oversee a small team.
  • Lead the development of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support the CFO and other senior executives with financial analysis and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the financial reporting process.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team.

Profile

A successful Senior Manager, External Financial Reporting should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of SEC reporting and US GAAP.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Public accounting experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
