Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations in Deerfield, IL, seeks a Sr. Manager, External Reporting to lead SEC filings, technical accounting and consolidation processes in Oracle FCCS. Hybrid work with some from-home days offers balance and growth.

You will manage MD&A disclosures, equity and acquisition accounting, support Investor Relations, and maintain accounting policies while coordinating with auditors. CPA required; 7+ years in external reporting preferred.

Qualifications

B.A/B.S. in Accounting
CPA and SEC reporting experience
7+ years accounting experience in external reporting
5+ years of management experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and external reporting requirements
Experience with acquisitions accounting and pension accounting

Responsibilities

Manage preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and other disclosures
Review financial statement disclosures and notes for accuracy
Oversee acquisitions and divestitures accounting processes
Support Investor Relations with earnings releases and disclosures
Coordinate monthly/quarterly reporting and accounting policy maintenance
Liaise with external and internal auditors and actuaries
Research technical accounting matters and monitor GAAP/SEC developments
Assist with complex accounting issues (Pension, intangibles, EPS, rev recognition)
Lead annual goodwill and asset impairment testing
Manage performance reviews for direct reports
