Job summary

CFS is seeking a Manager of External Reporting to oversee preparation and filing of SEC reports and to research and draft technical accounting position papers. This role supports internal controls, GAAP compliance, and financial statement presentations, with opportunities for career growth.

The position requires CPA credentials, a B.S. in Accounting, and 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably at a Big 4 or publicly traded company, with a hybrid work schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and FASB standards.
• Experience with SEC filings and MD&A disclosures.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret GAAP-related issues and advise management.
• Ensure timely and accurate SEC filing compliance (Form 10-Q, 10-K).
• Prepare/discuss footnotes, MD&A, and financial statements.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting per SOX 404.
• Research and draft accounting position papers on technical issues.
• Perform equity-related calculations and disclosures (EPS, share-based comp).
• Support press releases with GAAP to non-GAAP reconciliations.
• Assist in M&A, systems implementations, and revenue projects.
