Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Export Compliance Analyst to build and support our International Trade Compliance team. The role focuses on ITAR/EAR compliance, export authorizations, and guiding internal teams as the primary interface to Compliance.

Based in Costa Mesa, Seattle, or Washington, D.C., the candidate will handle complex regulatory matters, manage authorizations, and implement best practices to deploy defense technology in line with U.S. and allied requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of export control compliance experience.
• Experience with defense contracts and government work.
• Understanding of ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Ability to deploy and improve compliance processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication; adaptable to a startup legal function.
• Willing to travel at least 15% and obtain DoD clearances.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ITAR and EAR compliance across programs.
• Prepare and submit export authorization applications.
• Provide training on ITAR/EAR for staff.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates.
• Manage and track export authorizations.
• Interface with U.S. government agencies.
• Support hardware export logistics.
• Develop and improve compliance procedures for subsidiaries.
• Assess compliance of transactions and investigations.
• Implement corrective actions from issues found.
• Participate in cross-functional compliance projects.
